Located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by endless rugged mountains and terrain. Logan, Utah is a small, yet adventure-packed town to visit. There is an endless amount of things to do, if you dig just a little to find it. Anything from shopping in quiet little downtown areas, to hands-on excitement and thrills can be found when you visit Logan.
Located in northern Utah, about an hour and a half from Salt Lake City, you’ll find seasonal
activities that fit everyone's needs and wants. The warm weather brings festivals, fairs, cookouts, and lots of exploring to be done in the outdoors. Stay a little while, and you won't ever want to leave. Logan Canyon National Scenic Byway is 43 miles of uncrowded scenery through Logan Canyon, one of America's last unspoiled destinations. Your journey along this phenomenal route will take you past powerful limestone cliffs, colorful fields of wildflowers, and the Logan River on the way to indescribable waters of Bear Lake. You can also find yourself getting into some fun with skiing, rock climbing, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and MUCH more.
Logan is about a 10-minute drive to the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, where you can hike, mountain bike, canoe, fish, bird watch, rock climb, and get all those memorable photos to keep and share with friends and family.
Logan has a wide variety of unique and affordable locally-owned restaurants and eateries. Foodies will especially enjoy a true taste of Cache Valley by taking a self-guided Cache Valley Signatures Products Tour and visiting production facilities to sample some of their famous cheese, (Gossner Cheese is the largest Swiss cheese manufacturer in the nation) ice cream (Utah State University has been selling ice cream commercially since the 1920's, plus there's Casper's Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches and Premium Creamies also), internationally renowned Caffe Ibis coffee, Pepperidge Farm cookies, Cox Honey from fourth-generation beekeepers, Lower Meats, hand-dipped chocolates, and so much more.
If you want some interesting Logan adventures, step back in time to experience the true
Old West at the American West Heritage Center where history comes alive and artifacts become real with your own eyes. Have a glimpse of what Western life was like from 1820-1920 at this 160-acre hands-on learning center. The memories will last a life time, and the adventures will just keep on going while you are here at the American West Heritage Center.
Logan has more to offer than just a short vacation stay. Logan is also home to Utah State University. Getting an education is very important these days, and to find a great college in a beautiful place such as Logan, is an all-around great find.
So whether you and your family are looking for a nice and relaxing journey or an action-filled
