My Futur-e-Stick is the Ultimate Universal Tablet Selfie Stick

Image
Have you been a part of the latest of trend of taking selfies? Have you been sucked into the world of social medic, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and so many others that are out there? So have I. And I am now entering the world of the tablet selfie stick too.

Future-e-stick has an incredible universal tablet stick that allows for you to stick not only your tablet, but phones, GPS systems, and even your camera if light enough. The swivel piece allows for you to turn your tablet (or other device) in the correct position and then snap away those photos or video.

You are able to have the option to have the USB attachment also. This allows for you to store battery power and charge up your device when the battery begins to die. You just take it out of the bottom of the future-e-stick, then replace it with a plastic cap and continue on. The sticky piece that holds your tablet will lose its sticky if you leave the protective plastic covering off when not in use. Make sure to take …

I Took the #EcoBoost15 Challenge Presented by Ford Motor Company

Image
There is some amazing things I want to share with you about my Mother's Day weekend. I figured it was time to do something a little different this year since I am almost 29 (shhhhhh don't tell anyone), so I took my mom over four hours away driving time to join the #EcoBoost15 Challenge at the Emerald Downs Raceway located in Auburn, Washington. I just enjoy the scenic drive so much. The Pacific Northwest is a place unlike any other, and a place I am proud to call home. Continuing on, I thought now was the best time to take the #EcoBoost15 Challenge since I am working very hard to get her out of the vehicle she currently has, and into the Ford Edge.

I registered for this event the minute I received the email from Ford. As many of you already know, I am a huge supporter and fan of Ford Motor Company and the huge leaps and bounds that they are achieving in making the vehicles they offer much more eco-friendly, sustainable, and more comfortable to ride in and drive. I ha…

Learn How to Heal Your Body Through Body Cognition

Image
It is important to take care of your body. We only have one in our lifetime and to let it go to waste is something not worth doing as we age and feel the effects of aging on our bodies.

The electronic book Body Cognition: The Method, is a book worth reading. Teaching the correct ways of movement of our bodies if beneficial mentally and physically. I was able to find a deep relaxation with the insights of this book. I learned much more about my body than I was aware of already.

"Since the development of "Body Cognition" in the 1960s and 1970s, thousands of people have experienced it. However, when we ask: What is "Body Cognition", some of the answers are given in the negative form: this is not gymnastics in the usual sense; this is not a treatment for back pains only, and so on. How, then, can we define the "Body Cognition" method: education for a proper body movement? Training and preparing the body? Healthy gymnastics? These are titles whic…

Melatonin is a Natural Sleep Aid

Image
I have been trying out Maxabsorb Melatonin that helps aid with sleep. I apply at night before bedtime, and it is supposed to help me fall asleep.

I suffer from insomnia, and makes sleep very hard for me to get to sleep and stay asleep. I have to be honest and say that I did not notice much of a difference using this product. I believe insomnia is the reason why.

So I then asked my 13 year old son if he was interested in trying it out for me to see if it helps him fall asleep. He stays asleep once he has fallen asleep, but says sometimes it is hard for him to fall asleep. He was happy to try it. (He loves his asleep)

He has been trying it for about two weeks now, and says it has truly helped him fall asleep. He uses it about 30 minutes before bedtime and by that time,  he is more than ready to get into bed. He does not wake up feeling extra tired, or like he spent half the night trying to fall asleep.

I personally believe that this product works, just did not for me w…
