Self Taught Chef at Home

   I am no one to claim to be a culinary master, or world famous 5 star chef. However, I must say that cooking for my children, family, friends, and for gatherings of all types...has helped shape me into a self taught chef.

   I take pride in being able to cook a variety if foods, for a variety of taste buds. I have compiled some photos of things I have cooked, and I hope enjoy. I wont be adding recipes, but I will give detailed specifics.


(Above photo) I made steak and sliced it very thin. Sautéed mushrooms, mashed potatoes with gravy, a green salad with ranch dressing and a whole avocado sliced in half on the side.
(Above photo) Creamy potato soup with crackers on top.
(Above photo) This is a Mexican sop called Pazole. Spicy, filled with pork, cabbage radish, and cilantro.
 (Above photo) This was just a little snack. Large shrimp, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, garlic, and onion with lemon juice squeezed on top.
 (Above photo) Nothing better than a delicious B.L.T. Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich on French bread.
 (Above photo) Breakfast served healthy. Toasted French bread, sunny-side up eggs, avocado, and green salsa.
